Group Sound Healing

  • Carpe Diem Wellness 700 Blaw Avenue Blawnox, PA, 15238 United States (map)

Sound healing is both a passive and participatory experience. The passive aspect is that you become more relaxed by laying down and slowing your breath. By doing this, you prepare yourself to become the receiver of sound. In this place of stillness, you participate by becoming more open and aware of each sound that comes in. Sound helps create the pathway to this place of stillness as a mantra helps you arrive at the still point of meditation.

Benefits from Sound Healing :

  1. Deep Relaxation
When you listen to soothing sounds, your body releases endorphins, serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin, and norepinephrine. These feel-good chemicals make us happy and help move us out of a fight or flight stress response. They also reduce blood pressure and heart rate, promoting deep relaxation.

  2. Clears energetic blockages

Some people experience deep healing during sound therapy as the sound vibrations open, clear, and balance their chakras, releasing stuck energy that leaves them feeling balanced and replenished.

  3. Boosts your health

Benefits can include improved sleep, reduction of chronic pain and blood pressure, lowering cholesterol, and more.

  4. Supports mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being

Sound healing helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. It balances and clears the mind, leading to a renewed sense of purpose, well-being, calm, and happiness.

What to expect from a sound healing session

Like most alternative healing modalities and meditative practices, everyone's experience differs, and new things may arise in each session. Most people feel relaxed and peaceful during sound healing; some might have visualizations, receive creative downloads, or have an emotional breakthrough.
