Amanda Garforth
Co-Director
Amanda is the co-director of Carpe Diem Wellness, where her passion for holistic health meets a deep commitment to helping individuals reconnect with their body's innate healing power. With a foundation built across multiple healing disciplines, Amanda brings a truly integrative approach to every client she works with — one that honors the whole person, not just the symptoms.
A graduate with honors from the American College of Healthcare Science in Applied Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine, Amanda also holds a nursing degree from the University of Pittsburgh. This rare blend of conventional medical training and holistic education allows her to bridge the gap between evidence-based care and root-cause wellness — offering clients the best of both worlds.
Amanda is a Certified Somatic Practitioner, weaving body-centered awareness into her work to help clients release stored tension, trauma, and emotional patterns held within the nervous system. This somatic lens is central to her approach, as she believes true healing begins when the body feels safe enough to let go.
Her certifications span a wide spectrum of healing modalities:
Emotion Code, Body Code & Belief Code — to identify and release energetic imbalances at the subconscious level
Reiki Master & Sound Healer — to restore energetic flow and promote deep nervous system regulation
Certified Nutritionist — to nourish the body from the inside out, addressing the nutrimental roots of imbalance
Amanda is passionately dedicated to enhancing awareness and fostering connection to holistic approaches for nervous system regulation. She understands that lasting wellness isn't found in a single modality — it's discovered at the intersection of all of them.
By weaving together somatic practice, energy healing, nutritional guidance, and emotional wellness, Amanda creates a personalized, compass-driven experience for each client. Whether she's guiding someone through the Emotion Code, supporting nervous system recovery, or crafting a nourishing wellness plan, her goal is always the same: to empower individuals to reclaim their health, trust their body's wisdom, and chart their own course toward balance, harmony, and lasting vitality.
Dr. Frank Cicirello
Co-Director
Passion for holistic healthcare is Dr. Frank Cicirello's hallmark — and it shows in everything he does. With over four decades of dedicated practice, Dr. Cicirello has cared for thousands of patients, leaving a lasting impact on individuals and families who have trusted him with their health across generations.
A licensed Chiropractor with specialized training in Functional Medicine and Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), Dr. Cicirello is committed to addressing the root causes of health challenges rather than simply managing symptoms. Dr. Cicirello's strong belief in patient education has been the cornerstone of his practice — fostering loyal, multigenerational relationships built on trust and a shared vision of optimal wellness. He doesn't just treat — he teaches, equipping patients with the knowledge and tools to take ownership of their health journey.
Leading by example, he embodies the vitality he champions every day. At Carpe Diem Wellness, Dr. Cicirello continues to educate, inspire, and guide individuals toward their healthiest lives — one compass point at a time.
Jaclyn Filo
Jaclyn Filo is a licensed massage therapist with a therapeutic, holistic approach to bodywork and wellness — one rooted in both education and deeply personal healing.
Jaclyn's path to healing has been anything but linear. She attended Miami University, studying Psychology with a minor in Fashion, before following her calling to hands-on healing work at the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy. That foundation set the stage for an expansive wellness journey that has taken her from local studios to the jungles of Costa Rica.
Her holistic training spans a remarkable range of disciplines:
200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification — Om Lounge
Sound Healing Certification — The Embodied Warrior, Costa Rica
Aerial Yoga Teaching Certification — Elevate Yoga Center, Florida
Holistic Wellness Coaching Certification — International Association of Wellness Professionals
In session, Jaclyn draws on a neuromuscular and deep therapeutic approach to release chronic tension, reduce pain, and support the body's natural healing processes. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to the individual — blending clinical technique with a holistic understanding of how stress, lifestyle, and the nervous system shape the body's experience.
Her intention is simple but powerful: to create a grounded, supportive space where clients feel truly cared for and empowered in their wellness journey. At Carpe Diem Wellness, Jaclyn's integrative expertise adds another vital compass point — helping clients reconnect with their bodies and move toward lasting balance, ease, and vitality.
